CSforAll in NJ : Where we are, how we got here, and what is next.
September 23 @ 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Did you know that all schools in NJ must offer Computer Science starting in September 2022? The new NJ Student Learning Standards require all students in grades k-8 to learn Computer Science and all high schools to offer Computer Science. This is supported by Governor Murphy’s CSforAll State Action Plan. What steps is your school taking to plan for this? Do you need help? CS4NJ Coalition and the NJSPN would like to find ways to help make sure all students in NJ have access to high quality and equitable Computer Science Education. In this webinar we will discuss CSforAll in NJ: where we are, how we got here, and what is next.
This event is open to all NJEA members, and will be presented by Daryl Detrick, CS4NJ Coalition Co-Director.
